Season Info - Tier 1

  1. The coed summer league will run from June 22, 2025 - August 24, 2025.

  2. Games will be on Sundays at Red River College South Gym between 10AM-7PM

  3. Games will be best of 5 sets to 25, 5th set to 15 points. No point cap.

  4. All games will be officiated.

  5. Unlimited subs.

  6. There are cash prizes and shirts for the winning team.

Season Info - Tier 2

  4. Only playoffs will be officiated.

  5. Unlimited subs.

  6. There are shirts for the winning team.

​General Rules 

  1. Games will follow the Volleyball Canada Indoor Volleyball Rulebook.

  2. Game times listed are game START times, teams should arrive before then to get ready and warm up 

  3. Teams may start with less than 6 players but will receive a 5 point disadvantage for the first set and a 10 point disadvantage for the second set

  4. A player may only play for one team and in only one division

  5. A player may sub for a team in a higher division than the one they registered for but NOT lower. A player may NOT sub for another team in the same division.

  6. A roster form will be sent to the captain to fill out following the completion of registration. Only players on the roster submitted before June 8th will be eligible to play in playoffs.

  7. All participating players MUST submit a waiver before their first game. Including subs.

  8. Teams are encouraged to have some sort of coordinating team shirt or jersey. Numbers are not required on the shirt/jersey

  9. Teams will get 1 - 30 second time out per set. 

  10. Seeding and Schedule for playoffs will be determined by the win-loss ratio. In the case that two or more teams have the same ratio, the points for and against ratio will be used.

  11. There is ZERO-TOLERANCE for verbal or physical abuse to any of the Hyper Athletic League team, including referees, scorekeepers, etc. Hyper Athletic League may ask individuals to leave the venue and may not be permitted to return depending on the severity of the mistreatment. 

Coed Rules

  1. You are not allowed to have more than 3 males in one row at a time. I.E. There must be at least one female and at most 2 males in each row. If there are 2 females on the court, they must be in opposite positions of each other.

  2. Males are allowed to hit in the front row.

  3. There are no blocking restrictions​.

Gym Rules

  1. No food is permitted inside the gym as per the Red River College policy

  2. Please don't litter. Clean up after yourself

  3. Outdoor shoes must be left outside the gym on the designated mats. Indoor and non-marking shoes can be worn inside. This is to protect the gym floors, keep the courts clean and the players safe.​

Registration

  1. The first 8 teams to be fully registered will be playing in the summer season.

  2. To be considered fully registered the team must submit the form on the Hyper Athletic League Website and e-transfer the full payment to hyperathleticleague@gmail.com

  3. Teams will be contacted after completion of the above to confirm and approve registration.

  4. Registration opens May 4th at 1PM and closes May 25th or when we reach capacity.

  5. Registration includes captain info, team name and payment. Rosters to be submitted after registration.
